How do I Categorize My Assets?

1. Upload your images and assign them to tags - These tags can be pre-made or created on the spot by typing them in.
2. Filter images in the Assets page by selecting the Select Group button - This can be found in the middle of the top bar above the images. There are two logic modes which can help to change how you want to filter for certain tags.
3. Select the cog button for Settings - These settings allow you to add more group tags, change the names of tags, see data about how many images there are corresponding to a tag, and removing tags and their corresponding images if required.
4. Filter images in Annotator by selecting the Select Group button - You can find the Select Group button at the bottom left above the Image Selector, which will filter in the same way by selecting certain group tags, which will only allow the Image Selector to show images corresponding to those groups.

The Select Group button is used in both the Assets and Annotator pages and displays essentially the same options. Essentially, you should select your desired group tags that you would like to filter for, and also select whether you would like to Match Any or Match All. Match Any is similar to the logical or, in that images that fit into the filter need only be part of at least one of the selected tags. Match All is similar to the logical and, in that images that fit into the filter must be part of all selected tags. These logical options allow you to be more selective and free in the way you want to tag your images, as they can be part of multiple tags which you can filter for in a variety of ways.

Group Management Settings

Group Management, which is accessed through the Assets page, next to the Select Group button as a cog shaped button, is where you can manage the asset tags that you have created. Here, you can choose to make new tags by typing them in, rename tags by selecting the existing tags and filling out a new name in the designated space of the pop-up, and also delete tags.

Importantly, one can delete tags without removing the assigned assets, and also remove the associated assets as well if desired. This can be very useful for mass-deleting assets that are no longer needed based on specific tags.
